Takara Bicycle 1977

This mostly original Takara bicycle from 1977 is not remarkable. In fact, I purchased it at discount and intended to use as a brazing practice subject. After taking a closer look I started to like what I saw and elected a different frame already in the stable as suitable brazing fodder. It is pictured as purchased. This frame is a 25 inch size and the bicycle as pictured weighs 29 lbs 6 oz. It is no lightweight by today's standards.

Although I believe it is a model 732 I cannot say that for sure. By using component manufacturing codes and seeing '77' clearly stamped into the frame it appears this was a 1977 model. If someone with more knowledge than me knows what model it is please drop me a note via the contact form.
